This strategy demonstrates the Victoria Police Department’s recognition of the impact of mental health on the lives of all citizens in our communities, and on our own employees.
The Victoria and Esquimalt Police Board has released the Department’s 2015 Annual Report, with an emphasis on community engagement that helps in building healthy communities. This approach helped craft the Department’s Strategic Plan and is key to the Department’s direction moving forward.
The new strategic plan is the result of a joint effort between the Victoria and Esquimalt Police Board and the Victoria Police Department, benefitting from input from across the organization.
