VicPD 2017 Community & Business Survey Results

You’re Invited To Help Determine Our Future

On behalf of the Victoria Police Department and the Victoria and Esquimalt Police Board, I would like to invite you to help set the course for the Victoria Police Department for the next three years.

Over the last several months, my team has been working to gather your feedback in the form of our Community and Business Survey Project. VicPD Volunteers and Reserves hand-delivered survey packages to over 1,700 randomly selected residences and businesses across Esquimalt and Victoria. Since that time, my staff has worked to process those results. Now, we’re ready to report back to you on what we heard while having a focused discussion on what to do next.

We’re holding four focused discussions, hosted by members of our Police Board and our Senior Command Team. Our goal is to ensure that the citizens of Victoria and Esquimalt are receiving the policing service that they expect in a way that is financially sustainable. While one of these feedback sessions is specifically focussed on the needs of our business community, three sessions are focused on you, the residents of the communities we serve.

I am hoping you can attend one of these community sessions:

If you are interested in attending the business-focused session on Tuesday, June 6th at 8:00 a.m. at the Union Club, please click here to RSVP.

Simply click on the links above to RSVP to the session that works best for you. We’ll share the results of all the sessions once they’ve been completed.

It is vital that we hear from you in these sessions. We need your input to ensure we’re meeting your needs in the years ahead.
