
File # 14-23938Date: Friday, June 6 2014Listen: Two In Custody Minutes After Downtown Core StabbingVictoria, BC – Two people are in custody after VicPD Focused Enforcement Team (FET) members arrested them moments after a stabbing in the downtown core.Multiple calls came into the 911 Communications Centre at 12:56 pm this afternoon reporting a stabbing on Pandora Avenue at Quadra Street. FET officers, who maintain a strong presence in Victoria’s downtown core, were on the scene within moments and had the two alleged assailants in custody and provided first aid to the victim in short order. Two weapons were recovered.The victim, a 50-year-old Victoria man, was transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.A cat, housed in a stroller, was also recovered at the scene and is now in the care of Victoria Animal Control.
