Victoria, BC – Officers are searching for a female suspect after two people were injured by her dog on the grounds of local school.
Officers were called to the grounds of a school in the 3000-block of Quadra Street around 2:30 p.m. yesterday after two people were injured by a large dog. One of the victims was a child at the school, the other a teacher who attempted to intervene. When officers arrived the alleged owner of the dog had left the scene and given the victims a false name and phone number. The two victims were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman, in her late 20s to early 30s. She has a slender build, standing about five feet, eight inches tall. She has curly blonde hair. She was wearing a grey tank top and black pants. She gave the victims the name “Amber Valle” but that appears to have been false.
Her dog is described as an extremely large black and brown Rottweiler, weighing approximately 150 lbs.
