Esquimalt, BC- Everyone is welcome at this Saturday’s Greater Victoria Police Departments’ Multicultural Youth and Police Sports Day in Esquimalt’s Bullen Park.

Starting at 10 a.m., this Saturday June 9th, police officers from across Greater Victoria, including VicPD officers and Chief Constable Del Manak, will join youth from across the region in a sports day event. In addition to organized sports, the event features police vehicles, fire trucks and a great chance to have some fun. The event is sponsored by the Greater Victoria Police Diversity Advisory Committee, Esquimalt Parks and Recreation, the Victoria City Police Athletic Association, Country Grocer and the Esquimalt Lions Club.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Bullen Park. The nearby Esquimalt Recreation Centre is the alternative location in case of rain. This event is no cost and includes both a free lunch and t-shirt for participants.
