Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are asking for witnesses and information after a man suffered life-altering injuries in an assault on Friday night.
On Friday, January 15th, between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., the victim was walking in Bastion Square when he approached a group of approximately 10 youth. An unknown female youth with blonde hair threw a cup of water on the man. He was then struck from behind by an unknown person. The man suffered life-altering injuries in the assault and was transported to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services paramedics.
Investigators are asking to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the assault.
