Victoria, BC – Investigators are asking for dashcam and/or CCTV footage as they investigate a two vehicle crash that saw one vehicle strike a residence.

Officers were called to the intersection of Quadra Street at Summit Avenue just after 12:45 pm on Friday, March 10, 2023 for a report of a two-vehicle crash with injured parties. Both Victoria Fire Department firefighters and BC Emergency Health Services paramedics were already on scene when officers arrived.

The preliminary investigation indicates that following the initial collision between the two vehicles, one of the vehicles spun into a stop sign and a street sign before crashing into bushes at a Quadra Street property. The second vehicle involved also struck a fence on Quadra Street, before crossing diagonally across the street, through a fence and into a nearby residence. One person was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers are asking anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area of Quadra Street and/or Summit Avenue from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday, March 10, 2023 to call the Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
