Victoria, BC – Investigators are looking for additional CCTV footage and witnesses after a victim was assaulted by an unknown suspect near the intersection of Kings Road and Fifth Street in late November.
At approximately 11 p.m. on November 22, the victim was walking near the intersection of Kings Road and Fifth Street when an unknown person approached the victim and, without provocation, punched them in the face. The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was treated in the hospital. The incident was reported to VicPD the following day. A map of the area where the incident occurred is below.

The suspect is described as a very dark-skinned man in his twenties, approximately six feet tall with a slim build and wearing a green hoody and black track pants.
