Victoria, BC – Investigators from the General Investigation Section (GIS) are reaching out to the community for information following a break and enter that resulted in the theft of over $200,000 in luxury items from a residence.
On the evening of August 6, 2024, patrol officers responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 1800-block of Hollywood Crescent. The victim reported that they had returned home to discover someone had unlawfully entered the residence and stole over $200,000 in jewelry and designer clothing.
Officers have pursued various investigative avenues since this incident was reported to VicPD, and are now appealing to the community for information regarding the break and enter and the whereabouts of any stolen items.
