Victoria, B.C. – Investigators are looking to speak with witnesses or victims who may have had damage to their cars after an intoxicated driver was observed driving erratically early Sunday morning along Dallas Road.
Just after 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 10, patrol officers received a report of an impaired driver in a black car at the intersection of Dallas Road and Wellington Avenue. The driver collided with several vehicles and street signs, swerving across the road.
Responding officers located the suspect near Dallas Road and Douglas Street. The suspect ignored the officers’ instructions and resisted arrest until eventually officers were able to take him into custody.
The suspect was transported to VicPD cells and was released with conditions and an appearance notice to attend a future court date.
