Victoria, BC – Today marks the sixth-year anniversary of the disappearance of Emma Fillipoff.

During the evening of November 28, 2012, VicPD was contacted about a woman acting in an unusual manner in front of the Empress Hotel.  Officers located Emma Fillipoff and spoke at length with her.   After ensuring her well-being, Emma was allowed to continue on her way.  A few hours later Emma was reported as missing and has not been heard from or seen since.  In the subsequent investigation it was determined that Emma may have been suffering from an undiagnosed mental health issue.

Emma’s disappearance continues to be actively investigated by our Major Crime Detectives. “The file is still open and tips are being received with each viable tip being investigated,” said Detective Constable Dawndra Tolsma.  “We encourage anybody with any information to contact us.”
