Victoria BC – Numerous officers were kept busy last night after a suspicious package was located near City Hall.
Officers were called to the area of City Hall just before 10:00 p.m. after somebody located a suspicious package. Numerous officers attended and out of an abundance of caution, cordoned off the area around Centennial Square and City Hall.
VicPD Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU) members attended and were able to deem that the suspicious item was not a threat.
Our investigation into this incident, and the previous incident at the Victoria Courthouse, continue.
