One Man Arrested and Released After Assault

Victoria BC – Yesterday, a man was arrested at the Prime Minister’s visit for an assault that involved the security detail of the Prime Minister.

 

The man has since been released on a Promise to Appear and the investigation is in the early stages. During the course of that arrest, a VicPD officer was injured and suffered non-life threatening injuries. That officer has since returned to work.
