Victoria, BC – Investigators are looking to speak with witnesses to a downtown incident that has at least one man facing recommended charges for robbery and mischief.
Officers were called to the intersection of Johnson and Blanshard streets at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Monday, February 12th, for an incident involving a man in the process of committing an act of mischief against vehicle. Officers located the parties and began an investigation into what appeared to be a robbery and mischief. As a result of that investigation, a suspect was located nearby and arrested. No one required medical attention.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area of Johnson and Blanshard streets at that time who may have witnessed an interaction between two groups of people involving a vehicle to call (250) 995-7654.
