Victoria BC – VicPD Traffic officers are looking for a dump truck that was involved in a hit and run this morning.
Officers attended the 3100-block of Douglas Street this morning for a collision between a dump truck and a pedestrian. The collision was believed to have occurred between 7:15 a.m. and 7:19 a.m.
Traffic members quickly attended and determined that the truck was making a right turn from Finlayson Avenue onto Douglas Street. The truck then collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The truck was described as a blue, single-axle dump truck.
