Syringe Located in Parking Pay Station

Victoria, BC – An investigation is underway after a syringe was located in a City of Victoria parking pay station earlier this week.

Today, a report was made to our officers after an uncapped syringe was located in a City of Victoria parking pay station on November 28^th.  The syringe was located where you would normally collect your ticket and the person who reported it believed it to be placed in such a way as to cause injury.

Our investigation is in the very early stages and it is not known if this is related to any other incident in the downtown area.  

When you’re collecting your parking receipt, please check to ensure that there is no syringe placed there.  If you do locate one, please call us at 250-995-7654.
