Victoria, BC – Witnesses are being sought by investigators as a Victoria man recovers after being stabbed near the 800-block of Johnston Street yesterday.
Officers were called to a multi-residential building in the 800-block of Johnson Street just after 5pm yesterday for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived they discovered the victim, a Victoria man, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Although in its early stages, our investigation indicates the stabbing occurred in the 800-block of Johnson Street. The victim made his way to a multi-residential building in that block where he was given medical attention before being transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been released.
Our investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
