Victoria BC – **UPDATE** The driver of the suspect vehicle has come forward to police. 

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a suspect vehicle after a hit and run left a cyclist with non-life-threatening injuries. 

At approximately 1730 hours tonight, officers responded to a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist at the intersection of Bay Street and Cedar Hill Road. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving the cyclist with non-life-threatening injures. The driver was believed to be operating a white mid-size SUV, possibly a Subaru. This vehicle will have minor front end damage as a result of the collision.
