Victoria, BC – Saturday marks the final day of the Royal Family’s visit to Victoria. There are a series of events taking place in the James Bay and Downtown areas. As a result there will be road closures and traffic disruptions throughout the day, ending around 4 p.m.
There is no parking in the lower Wharf Street parking lot beginning at 1 a.m. until approximately 5 p.m.
Starting at noon on Saturday, October 1, Wharf Street will close to traffic between Broughton Street and Government Street. This closure will last until approximately 4 p.m. Wharf Street between Fort Street and Broughton Street and lower Broughton Street between Langley Street and Wharf Street will be limited to local traffic only during this time.

There will also be traffic disruptions as the escort team moves throughout the City during the day. While we have worked to keep the disruptions to a minimum, our escort team would like to extend their thanks for your patience this week.
