Victoria, BC – VicPD Major Crime Detectives are investigating after a collision has resulted in the death of a 36-year old Victoria man.
At around 5:50 p.m. on Monday night, officers responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at Hillside Avenue at Higgins Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male suffering from life threatening injuries. The male was transported to hospital where he succumbed from his injuries.
The vehicle driver is cooperating with police, and the cause of the collision has yet to be determined. It is too early to say if charges will be laid.
