Victoria, BC – Investigators are looking to speak with a man who appears to have attempted to follow a 13-year-old girl.
Yesterday, officers were called after a 13-year-old girl reported to her parents that a man had followed her while she walked through a park near the 1200-block of Park Terrace in Esquimalt just after dark. The girl reported that the man first began to follow her. The girl told officers that when she became concerned about being followed she began to run away from the man, who then called out to her.
Officers are looking to speak with the man. He is described as a Caucasian male, 30-40 years old, with long, curly, blonde hair. The man wore a yellow trenchcoat or jacket and was first spotted sitting on a bench with several plastic bags. He was last seen walking in the direction of Admirals Road.
