Victoria BC – VicPD will be officially launching its new strategic plan this afternoon, which will chart the organization’s course for the next five years.
“This new strategic plan will focus on a community-based approach to providing outstanding policing services to our communities of Esquimalt and Victoria,” said Chief Constable Frank Elsner. “I am very excited about our plan as it is based on what we heard from you, what you want from your police and how we can work together to make our shared communities the healthiest they can be.”
The new strategic plan is the result of a joint effort between the Victoria and Esquimalt Police Board and the Victoria Police Department, benefitting from input from across the organization.
