Victoria, BC – VicPD officers have been able to identify a man who, due to a medical issue, was unable to tell us who he was.
Officers first encountered the man after receiving a call at 7:15 p.m. last night for assistance with an older man who appeared confused. When officers arrived at the 600-block of Douglas Street they encountered the caller with the man. At that time, the man appeared to be in a medical crisis which rendered him unable to identify himself to officers. He was transported to hospital, where he remains.
Officers thanked the public for their help in helping uncover the man’s identity, which, in turn will help us connect him with his loved ones.
