VicPD and VIIMCU Release Identity in Suspicious Death

Victoria, BC – The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit and VicPD detectives have released the identity of the Victoria woman discovered deceased at a residence in the 800-block of Queens Avenue on Friday.

Mary Caitlin Walton, who went by the name Caitlin Walton, was found by officers at approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13th. Walton was 46 years old.

VIIMCU and VicPD detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Walton’s death. At this time, investigators have no reason to believe that there is any risk to public safety nor is there any indication that this file is related to the other two recent suspicious deaths currently under investigation.
