Victoria BC – A 29-year-old Victoria man is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an early morning shooting.
Officers were at an unrelated call at approximately 12:30 a.m. m at the Royal Jubilee Hospital when the victim arrived in Emergency with a gunshot wound. The victim told officers that he had been shot in a suite in the 2800-block of Kiwanis Way.
Officers immediately went to the suite and continued the investigation.
VicPD Detectives are investigating and have been searching for evidence and continuing to search for the suspects. Investigators do not believe that this is a random event, and as such, do not believe the public to be at risk.
