Victoria BC – Today marks the 25th anniversary of Michael Dunahee’s disappearance.

4-year-old Michael Dunahee went missing from Blanshard Elementary School on March 24th, 1991. Michael was last seen around 12:30 p.m. in the area of the school playground.

Michael’s disappearance spawned one of the largest police investigations in Canadian history. The case remains an active investigation today.

“We’re making progress because we’ve been able to eliminate a lot of things that didn’t happen,” Inspector Keith Lindner said. “We continue to receive tips and are hopeful that we will receive the one tip we need to bring closure to the family.”
