Use of 911
In January of 2019, the management of VicPD’s 911 and non-emergency calls was transferred to E-Comm (Emergency Communications for British Columbia Incorporated).
E-Comm is the 911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for the Victoria Police Department and provides dispatch services for us. This means E-Comm answers your initial 911 calls and then transfers your call to another E-Comm representative to dispatch our officers, when needed.

Our E-comm partners have pledged to be responsive to your concerns. If you have a concern with 911 or non-emergency call service, please email: [email protected].
