Listen: VicPD Looking for Tagger

Victoria BC – VicPD is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a tagger, caught in the act by security cameras, after tagging a downtown business.

Officers were called to the 700-block of Yates Street on August 15th, after an owner noticed the graffiti on their business. The owner checked the security footage and it showed a man spraying the building, and sure enough, the act was caught on camera.

As the investigation continued, the identity of the suspect was not revealed, and now officers are hoping the public can assist.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 25 to 30-years-old and at the time of the offence he was wearing blue jeans, a button up, short sleeve, shirt, black back pack, brown shoes and a hat.

Please take a moment to watch the short video and help officers identify this man.

If you do know the identity of the suspect, or have information on this crime, please contact Cst. Franco Bruschetta, VicPD’s Esquimalt Community Resource officer and Graffiti Coordinator, at [email protected].
