Victoria BC – The investigation into the disappearance of Dana (Dan) McKellar continues, with the assistance of the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crimes Unit.

McKellar was reported missing on September 2nd, 2014 and had last been seen by family or friends approximately three weeks prior in the 500-block of Dallas Road. Officers have been investigating since his reported disappearance.

McKellar is described as a 51-year-old Caucasian man who is approximately 5-foot-7 and weighs 180 lbs.

Investigators have determined that McKellar was assaulted on July 30th, 2014 in the 600-block of Speed Street. Detectives are wishing to speak with witnesses to this assault or to those who may have knowledge of McKellar’s disappearance.
