Victoria, BC – A Victoria woman is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle yesterday evening.
At 7:30 pm last night officers were called to the intersection of Cook Street and Pandora Avenue for a report of a woman who had been struck by a vehicle. When they arrived they discovered the pedestrian with non-life-threatening injuries laying in the street. Initial investigation has shown that the pedestrian appears to have entered the intersection against a red light. She was transported to hospital where she remains.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
