Victoria, BC – The VicPD mountain bike, stolen on June 24th, was recovered on Friday, June 26th. We asked you to keep an eye out after one of our police mountain bikes was stolen when bike officers were attending a social support agency in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue. When one of the officers stepped off her bike to attend to a citizen, a man jumped on it and rode it away.
A male suspect was taken into custody on an unrelated matter and the bicycle recovered a short time later.
