Victoria BC – VicPD Major Crime Investigators continue their investigation into a suspicious circumstance that occurred earlier today.

VicPD Patrol officers were called to an apartment in the 1000-block of Kings Road after somebody reportedly located what appeared to be a bullet hole in their wall. Out of an abundance of caution, the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT) attended and successfully evacuated several neighbouring suites. It was later determined that the suspect had left Victoria and has since been arrested by the Calgary Police Service.
While dealing with this incident, VicPD were also dealing with a distraught man in the 2600-block of Blackwood Street.  Police were called just after 7 a.m. after receiving an abandoned 911 call. With the assistance of the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team, officers were able to apprehend one man and transport him to hospital.
