Victoria, BC – Two men are in hospital, one in potentially life-threatening condition after they were struck by a vehicle in the 1600-block of North Dairy Road, near the Shelbourne intersection just before 11 p.m. last night. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with our investigators.
VicPD’s Traffic Section, including our collision reconstruction team were on scene investigating and the intersection remained closed for several hours.
It is too early in our investigation to comment on charges or fault, but we will have an update once one is available. In the meantime, in light of the rain overnight and this morning, officers are reminding all road users to use caution.
