Two Men are in Hospital Following Pedestrian MVI

Victoria, BC – One man is in hospital, with potentially life-threatening injuries, after he was struck by a vehicle in the unit-block of Gorge Road East just after 5:30 p.m. tonight. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and also has been sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

VicPD’s Patrol Section and our collision reconstruction team, are on scene investigating and the 2900-block of Irma Street will be closed for several hours.  

It is too early in our investigation to comment on charges or fault, but we will have an update once one is available.
