Victoria, BC – VicPD investigators have made an arrest after a sexual assault in Esquimalt on Tuesday night.
Last night, VicPD investigators identified and arrested a 40-year-old Esquimalt man in relation to the sexual assault that occurred in Cairn Park, otherwise known as Highrock Park.
Investigators believe that the victim and man in custody did not know each other. Investigators are continuing their investigation and the man is expected to appear for a tele-bail hearing this afternoon. Police are recommending several charges including Aggravated Sexual Assault.
