Victoria, BC – A Burnaby man is facing two counts of sex related offences after a four month online investigation.

VicPD’s only dedicated Internet Child Exploitation Investigator began an investigation into the man in December of 2016. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the male wanted to come to Victoria to sexually abuse a child.

On March 3rd, the man was arrested at Swartz Bay and a search warrant was subsequently executed at his residence in Burnaby by the Burnaby RCMP.  Alyx Lusignan, a 29 year old, has been charged with two offences:

-One count of Making Child Pornography

-One count of Agreement or Arrangement to commit a sexual offence against a child.

His next scheduled court appearance is on March 20th, 2017.
