LATEST UPDATE | The stolen grey BMW 335i has been recovered and the driver of said vehicle arrested for possession of stolen property after a brief foot chase. However, at this time our search for the robbery suspects is on-going.

VicPD detectives are continuing our investigation of an armed robbery of a marijuana storefront that occurred in the 3100-block of Harriet Street on last night.

VicPD officers were called to the marijuana storefront for a report of a robbery with a firearm at approximately 7:30 p.m. The suspects fled in a stolen grey BMW 335i with B.C. plate BA5 34P. These suspects are considered armed and dangerous. If you see the vehicle, do not approach it and call 911.

The investigation is in the early stages and VicPD investigators are continuing to gather information. Further updates will be shared as possible.

Marijuana storefronts should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves from robberies. These measures can include multiple staff on site, alarm systems, and extra vigilance regarding the people coming into their business.
