Victoria, BC – Officers have one man in custody and are continuing their investigation into an assault with a weapon on October 3rd, that left a man with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers were called to the 800-block of Johnson Street shortly after 11:30 a.m. today after the report of an assault with a weapon. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital where he remains.
It is believed that the suspect and victim were known to each other and investigators believe there is no risk to the public at this time. Officers are continuing their search for the suspect.
