Victoria, BC –Officers are looking to reunite an electric scooter with its rightful owner after taking a man into custody for breaching court-ordered conditions not to possess electric scooters or bicycles.
The scooter is a late model black GiO electric scooter. Photos of it are below.
Officers have reason to believe that this scooter has been stolen and that the man who was in possession of it is not the rightful owner. The man was taken into custody for breaching court-ordered conditions, including prohibitions on possessing scooters and bicycles, as well as prohibitions on possessing tools utilized for theft. He remains in custody.
