Meet Evie, the 6 year-old artist who drew this year’s VicPD Holiday Greeting Card

Victoria, BC – This year, VicPD’s holiday greeting card will feature some special artwork from a talented young artist.

Evie, the 6-year-old daughter of a VicPD employee, submitted the winning entry in our holiday greeting card art contest. Evie’s drawing, chosen from the top three entries by online votes from both VicPD staff and the outside community, will greet members of our community and partners we work with as we extend our season’s greetings.

Chief Manak met with Evie yesterday to congratulate her. Nearly 1,000 votes were cast in the contest that declared her entry the winner.

All of the artwork will be featured, one per day, on our Twitter, Facebook and Instragram accounts starting on December 6^th and leading up to Christmas Day.
