Victoria, BC – If you’re planning on celebrating the New Year this weekend, be sure to plan for a safe ride home.
As they have been all through the holiday season, VicPD officers and volunteer reserve constables have been out conducting impaired driving enforcement. These efforts to keep our roads safe include roadblocks, patrol and responding to citizen reports of impaired driving.
A designated driver who “only has one drink” is simply not a designated driver. The best way to have a safe and happy new year is to simply not drive after drinking or using drugs. BC Transit is offering free service after 6:00pm on December 31st.
