Alleged Mischief Results in Drug Arrest

Victoria BC – Three charges are being recommended after a mischief to a business resulted in drug seizure.

 

On January 7^th, officers were called to the 1900-block of Douglas Street after it was reported that a man had caused mischief to a business in the area.  Officers were supplied a good description and, while on their way to the business, they located the man.

The man was initially arrested for mischief and when searched, officers located over $7,000 and just over half a pound of suspected drugs including suspected fentanyl.

 

Three charges are being recommended by officers including Mischief under $5000, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Failure to comply with probation order.
