Victoria, BC – You’re invited to join Hilary and Mark Jordan, alongside other members of Ian’s family, as Chief Del Manak as well as VicPD officers and staff unveil Ian’s plaque in the VicPD Hall of Honour on Friday, September 28th at 1:30 p.m. Ian will take his rightful place in the Hall, with his badge and plaque installed alongside his fellow fallen VicPD officers. Chief Manak will also escort Hilary and Mark to the cairn outside where Ian’s name has already been inscribed, and upstairs (3rd floor) to Room 320, the new “Cst. Ian Jordan Room.”

Parade will step off at 12:40 p.m. in the 700-block of Wharf Street.
Cst. Ian Jordan’s name has been added to the BC Law Enforcement Memorial Bastion and VicPD officers past and present will mark the ceremony on the Legislature lawn.
Cst. Ian Jordan will also be honoured at Law Enforcement Memorial events across Canada, including the Toronto to Ottawa Memorial Relay Run which takes place from Sept. 27th to 29th. Ian’s name will be read from the list of fallen officers and added to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Ottawa during the ceremonies on Sunday, September 29th.
