Victoria BC – VicPD Traffic officers, as well as detectives from our Major Crime Unit, continue their investigation into a serious collision that occurred Saturday night.

Just after 8:45 p.m. on November 10th, multiple officers responded after several 911 calls were received reporting that a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of Pandora Avenue and Douglas Street. The initial investigation has revealed that the motorcycle was travelling west on Pandora Avenue and collided with a pedestrian at the intersection with Douglas Street.

The pedestrian was also transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Both rider and passenger were thrown from the motorcycle and also transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.  

Investigators are hoping to speak with several bystanders who assisted the victims, including several off-duty doctors who came to the scene to assist. Those who assisted, as well as those with information about this incident, who have not yet spoken with officers are asked to call our non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654. 

The investigation to determine the contributing factors in this collision remains ongoing.
