Victoria BC – The Victoria Fire Department continues to put out hotspots at the site of the fire. They currently control the scene and are working to make it safe for the agencies that need access to the site. Fire investigators will work in the coming days to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
There have been many questions about the caretaker, Mike Draeger. At this point, he is still unaccounted for and our officers are continuing to make attempts to locate him. VicPD would like to thank the public for widely sharing that VicPD continues to search for Mr. Draeger.
There have been many requests for more information about Mr. Draeger, including photos. At this time, we do not have any details or pictures that we can release that would assist the public in locating him.
