Two Arrested, $6000 worth of Jewelry Recovered

Victoria BC –  A man and a woman were located and arrested after an early morning break in.

On Sunday morning, VicPD Patrol officers attended the 500-block of Fisgard Avenue for the report of an alarm. As officers arrived, it was determined that a break and enter had occurred with over $6000 worth of jewelry stolen.  After some initial investigation, officers were able to determine that the suspects were in a suite within the same building.

Officers attended the suite and successfully located and arrested the two suspects. Officers applied for and were granted a search warrant which was executed later on Sunday where all the jewelry was recovered.

Both the man and woman, who are known to police, remain in custody.
