Victoria, BC – Traffic officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward to assist in an impaired driving investigation after a collision yesterday sent one man to hospital.

Traffic officers discovered the aftermath of a collision at the intersection of Gonzales Avenue and Foul Bay Road at approximately 4 p.m. yesterday afternoon. As officers responded they discovered that two vehicles had been involved in a collision. Both vehicles were heavily damaged in the crash.

One of the drivers was not physically injured in the collision. The male driver of the other vehicle was being attended to by a passerby who was an off-duty physician. He was unconscious and in potentially life-threatening condition.
