Victoria, BC – Patrol and VicPD K9 officers are currently in the 300-block of Waterfront Crescent and the Galloping Goose Regional Trail for a report that a man was stabbed.
Officers were called to that area after a call came into B.C. Emergency Health Services for a report that a man had been stabbed. Officers arrived and located the victim who was in potentially life-threatening condition. Officers applied emergency first aid until B.C. Emergency Health Services Paramedics moved in and transported the man to hospital. His current condition is unknown.
Officers are searching the area for the suspect and gathering evidence for the investigation. There will be traffic disruptions in the area and on the Galloping Goose Regional Trail as our officers investigate.
This investigation is in a very early stage. More information will be shared as we are able.
