Victoria, BC – Detectives with VicPD’s Major Crime Unit arrested one man yesterday who they believe is responsible for a stabbing which occurred on May 14th.
At approximately 9 p.m. on May 14th, Patrol officers were called to the 700-block of Johnson Street for a report of a stabbing. The victim was transported to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, and the suspect remained outstanding.
At approximately 12 p.m. on May 20th, detectives arrested the suspect in the 800-block of Caledonia Avenue.
Nathan Solomon Perez, a 38-year-old Victoria man, faces recommended charges including one count of aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, and two counts of unlawful confinement.
