Missing Python Prompts Public Warning

Victoria, BC – Patrol officers are warning the public after a ball python was reported missing this morning.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on August 4^th, Patrol officers received a report that a ball python went missing in the area of the 200-block of Bay Street, near the Galloping Goose Trail. The python went missing on July 2^nd, however it was not reported until today.

The ball python is described as four feet, five inches in length. Ball pythons are nonvenomous constrictors.

Animal Control is aware of the incident.
